“One year ago, the 25th Anniversary Presentation of Top Gun marked the beginning of what would become Hawaii’s most epic movie experience. This month, we celebrate the best of our first year in the Hana Hou Picture Show by bringing back three classic films from the 80’s, digitally re–mastered on Honolulu’s biggest screen.”

Celebrate the first anniversary of the Hana Hou Picture Show with the official commemorative shirt! It features icons of the movies on the front, and the Hana Hou Picture Show logo on the back. Mahalo to Consolidated Theatres for bringing back these classic movies from my childhood. It definitely has inspired my work!

Meticulously crafted out of over a dozen Apple products (bonus points if you can name ‘em all… no discounts, just points), it is presented here as guardian of all that is Mac–a shiny, glass, plastic, and aluminum warrior ready to Command-Q any Winbots.

It’s also a fitting tribute to the late Apple founder, Steve Jobs, who’s design and marketing savvy led to a revolution in computers, music, and mobile. RIP Steve Jobs. Oh wow!

November 1, 2011 was supposed to be the start of the 2011-12 NBA season. But, as negotiations continue to break down between the team owners and the NBA Players Association, fans are wondering if there’ll ever be a season at all.

In the meantime, wear this shirt in protest! Greedy owners take note! It’s time to occupy the league!

I Love Hawaii Libraries (Personalized)

Our family loves the library. Every week, our house is replenished with new books to read, CDs to listen to, and movies and TV shows on DVD to watch, all for free (and just $1 for DVDs)! But because of a more than $3,000,000 dollar budget reduction, Hawaii’s public libraries have been forced to slash hours and staff, with some branches even threatening to close. Friends of the Library Hawaii has already raised over $100,000 dollars in donations with their “Keep The Doors Open!” campaign but are far from reaching their goal of $3 million. How can you help? With a personalized Hawaii library t-shirt!

Each shirt proclaims your support of Hawaii’s public libraries personalized with your branch! Remembering Ryan

My tribute to the late Ryan Suenaga; athlete, geek, social worker, and most importantly, a friend to all. His image served as the logo for “Tweeball”, a monthly basketball tweetup he organized at Booth Park in Liliha. I always admired his game. He wasn’t quick, but had great footwork. He was strong, a beast on the boards, and he did it all in his trademark headband, colorful tanktop, and bike shorts (or JAMZ). He was one-of-a-kind, and I’m proud to have called him my teammate.

100% of the proceeds from the sales of this shirt will go to The @rsuenaga Scholarship Fund at Kapiolani Community College. It’s a scholarship for students who demonstrate interests in social work, social media, and community service. So far, over $5000 have been raised, and scholarships were awarded to 2 students, this fall.
